A very busy day is planned! Must complete the task for Dr. Monson, since most of today will be spent in preparation for the NCATE visit to Manhattanville. Tomorrow is my interview 3/28/11 from 4:00 to 4:45.
I received my dissertation critique with edits from Dr. Wan, and found the edits to be most helpful as I embark on the dissertation phase of my journey.

Dr. Wan's Dissertation Critique & Senior Research Papers
All of Friday evening and all day Saturday were devoted to the completion of the critique assignment. Like everyone, from time to time, we had technology issues. I managed to complete the assignment on time and thank goodness the file was sent to Dr. Wan in a pdf format; in addition, the paper was posted on my e-portfolio. As if that was not enough, I had to complete the reading of approximately 90 (7-10 pg) Senior Research Papers. All and all it was a very productive weekend. By the way, kudos to Jon Thomas for the hospitality last Thursday 3/17/11. Valhalla H.S. has a great deal to be proud of!

Dr. Monson's Reflective Prompt # 2 - Dominican College
A very busy but productive weekend! Dominican's production of Bye, Bye Birdie was a tremendous success! All 400 plus attendees were pleased by the performances of the students. I was very proud of all of my students in the Technical Theatre Class who really "delivered" for the college community. Kudos to Carlynn Ramos for a job well done! Now I am focusing on our visit to Valhalla High School on Thursday 3/17/11 and completing the reflective prompt due for Thursday. I also have not forgotten about the dissertation critique for Dr. Wan.

Thursday's Class - Dr. Wan's Critique Assignment - Rehearsals for Dominican College
Thoroughly enjoyed the gathering and coming up with a consensus of the data analysis for Dr. Monson's Class. The insightful discussions and pairing of the group tasks proved to be efficient and effective. Kudos to Dr. Monson for his execution of a great course. I have now begun to focus on Dr. Wan's assignment - namely the dissertation critique from USC. Interestingly enough, a similiar dissertation dealing with the arts and organizational culture surfaced from the same school in 2006. I hope to have at least half of the task completed on Sunday 3/6/11. Finally, my focus will be on Dominican College next week. All eyes will be on our college production - Bye, Bye Birdie.
